Intended for higher education educators in STEM fields only

Objective

To empower educators with innovative and effective teaching strategies in STEM education through experiential workshops, fostering a collaborative environment for sharing best practices and refining instructional methods.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Implement a variety of active learning techniques to enhance student engagement and understanding in STEM subjects.​
  • Design and facilitate effective laboratory experiences that promote hands-on learning and critical thinking.​
  • Apply problem-based learning strategies to encourage student collaboration and real-world problem-solving skills.​
  • Reflect critically on their teaching practices and integrate peer feedback to continuously improve instructional effectiveness.

Program Highlights

Experience Sharing: Participants will have opportunities to share their experiences with various teaching methods, fostering rich discussions on best practices and common challenges.

Hands-On Workshops: The program is structured around interactive workshops where educators will actively engage in implementing teaching strategies, allowing for immediate application and experiential learning.

Reflective Practice: Each workshop will conclude with reflection sessions, enabling participants to assess the effectiveness of the methods practiced and discuss adaptations for their own classrooms.

  • November – December 2025 – Independent preparatory work
  • December 1–5, 2025 – Onsite sessions at TTK University of Applied Sciences, Tallinn, Estonia
