Railway Engineering Laboratory features a scaled model of the Veriora railway station located in Põlva County, where all the necessary control, signalling, safety and communication systems have been introduced. The technological solution is presented in the form of a prototype model integrating hardware equipment and modern software solutions to simulate and control the processes and procedures taking place in a railway station. This laboratory offers opportunities to implement study programs, including in-service training programs in fields essential for the railway sector, such as remote control of railway traffic, electrical engineering, electrical mechanics, etc.
