The Virtual Reality Laboratory makes it possible to visualize buildings and structures in virtual reality (VR). Building information models are visualized in the BIM CAVE (Computer Assisted Virtual Environment) that allows to experience immersive 3D walkthrough of building models. Using virtual reality headsets (Oculus Rift, Valve Index) contributes to getting a more realistic sense of the modelled environment. VR enables assessment of the functionality and usability of building design solutions. The lab offers BIM visualization services.
