The final thesis of TTK UAS’ electrical engineering student, Vaido Sooäär, was recently declared the winner of the contest of applied research organized by the Foundation of Estonian UAS and Tallinn Enterprise Board. The thesis titled “6 kV power grid project for the Veskiposti development” was developed during Sooäär’s internship in the E-Service company. The electricit grid project was designed for the new Avala business quarters in Tallinn downtown and ordered by the company Kaamos Ehitus OÜ. The jury commended Sooäär especially for the instrumental value and the visual aesthetics of his work.
Leila Joosepson, a recent graduate from the Institute of Service Economy of TTK UAS, was presented the Best Investigative Work on Financing award during the national accounting competition for her final thesis “Compliance of accounting software products used in Estonia with the requirements and expectations arising from the digital transformation”.
