With its modern and well-equipped laboratories, the institute is noted for actively participating in applied research activities, serving as a reliable partner to Estonian Road Administration and construction companies.
TTK UAS is also a member of Estonian Road Cluster. The Institute of Civil Engineering is proud of its traditional events Concrete Day, Project Manager Day and Roads Conference.

The language of instruction of all curricula at TTK UAS is Estonian.
Courses in English are available for Erasmus+ exchange students from TTK UAS’ partner universities.
