Winner of Science Fair develops a racing motorbike with electric engine
Last Thursday, the jury of the Student Science Fair held in TTK UAS decided to award the first prize to Martin Sillandi, automotive engineering student in the Institute of Technology, who studies under the instructions of Professor René Nukki the design of engines for electric motorcycles.
The audience gave their vote to Anna Leppik from the Institute of Clothing and Textile who researched the possibilities of creating impermeable raincoat for horse riders and their assistants and developed on this basis an idea for an innovative, customer-driven and weatherproof collection of riding clothes.
The winner of the fair will be rewarded a trip to London where he will have an opportunity to be acquainted with different companies of the field. The prize for the winner of the audience award is lunch with the Minister of Economic Affairs and Information Technology.
